Movement Vitamin doesn't have to replace what you already do. Its purpose is to COMPLIMENT your existing workout to help you prehab, rehab and recover from those workouts. Our goal is to ENHANCE what you already do!


At Movement Vitamin, we have an array of classes in style and length, but the intention is always the same: TO TEACH YOU MORE. TO TEACH YOU HOW TO MOVE BETTER so that whatever it is you already do, YOU CAN DO IT BETTER. 

 


What do we mean by that? 

  • Well, we teach a yoga that is based on the principles of Physical Therapy and focuses on correcting postural imbalances and retraining poor movement habits.

  • We teach functional mobility, which entails joint specific training, so you can address problem areas and improve them (this is the BIG one for helping you function better in your daily life and workouts - don't believe us? Look up Functional Anatomy Seminars - it's what Katrina teaches!)

  • We teach corrective exercises to help you target weak areas because typically those areas that are in pain are craving STABILITY (received from corrective exercises).

  • We teach stretch and gentle classes to help you release restriction and stretch the right way (so you aren't sinking into areas that you shouldn't).

  • We teach classes that incorporate myofascial release coupled with exercises to create better muscular firing--a concept frequently used in Physical Therapy systems to create more optimal movement patterns. 

  • We teach mindfulness and meditation so you can learn how to be more present, less stressed and enjoy your life even more!
